It was like walking in the greatest stories ever told. Every beautiful poem or every harvesting love. It was like hiking in an unexplored wilderness that was completely raw and wild. Even the necessities we carried were limited on purpose, and the social boundaries were never marked. It was like running to the rhythm of the leaves changing and the snow falling. It was loving every jagged mountain and every twisted stream, and being completely immersed in it all. It was the true experience of being outside.
